Georg has more than 40 years of professional experience in all areas of international freight forwarding with his main focus on European overland transport and networks as well as contract logistics. He is well versed in developing new business and securing operations within contract logistics and distribution. Mr. Wackers has a proven track record as trouble shooter. He helped to converted six separate operations into quality business units and enabling them to aggressively outperform their competition. He is fluent in four languages.

Born in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, Georg started his career with an international forwarder in Krefeld in 1965. He worked for companies such as Kuehne & Nagel, Rhenus, Schenker, Fiege, GEFCO, and Frans Maas (DSV). For a total of 16 years Georg lived and worked in England, France, Spain, Belgium, Greece, and Cyprus.
