Helmut was born and raised in Bremen where he trained to become a Shipbroker and shipping Merchant. He studied business management (DAV Deutsche Verkehrsakademie) with majors in Logistics and Foreign Trade and was a journalist at the DVZ Deutsche-Verkehrs-Zeitung in Hamburg. At the BLG Logistics Group he led the traffic department and he was the expert for port-promotion and PR for Bremen’s Senator for Ports and Traffic. For 22 Years he was the Managing Director of the Bremische Hafenvertretung e.V. where he developed and led the implementation of the Global Marketing and Promotion Programs for the ports of Bremen. Helmut is representing adi Consult at Bremen since 2007.
